Why would I use Home Town Advantage instead of my local real estate
agent?
A.
We can offer :one or more agents, since you may be looking
in more than one neighborhood, who do not have a vested interest
in any particular property and who will advocate for you throughout
the transaction.
Q.
What kinds of questions are likely to be asked of me?
A.
Initially, we will want to learn as much about you as we can to
include your wants, needs, expectations and we will "pre-qualify"
you to determine your price range. Once you have started the home
buying/selling process we will be there to answer questions; what
type of broker agency relationship will best serve your interests,
if buying, how long a listing agreement to sign if you are selling,
if a purchase price or sale price is fair and accurate, any issues
or changes that need to be addressed after a home inspection,
etc.

What kind of agreement will we have if we use the Home Town Advantage
program?
A.
You will be asked to sign a simple agreement that outlines the
mutually understood terms of our relationship to include referral
to a real estate agent and the cash back bonus.
Q.
What happens if we dont like the Realtor you have referred
us to?
A.
We pride ourselves in making "custom" referrals but
by all means, if you are unsatisfied with the particular Real
Estate agent we have referred, contact us immediately so we can
make another referral.
Q.
Are your services available if I am looking for a rental apartment/house?
A.
Yes, we are happy to work with you if you are looking for a rental
property, however, you can expect to pay a brokers fee, which
is customarily one months rent, and there is no cash back
bonus.
Q.
How do I find other resources that I will need during the process?
A.
We recommend that you check with your company first for any "preferred
vendor discounts" but rest assured we have many resources
and services available to help you throughout the process.
